Dr. Dmitry Shestakovsky, DPT
At Omega Physical Therapy in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Dmitry Shestakovsky is an expert physical therapist who serves patients from in and around the Brooklyn area. Patients receive individualized care from Dr. Shestakovsky, who specializes in ankle and foot injuries, neck pain, physical therapy and post-surgery rehabilitation, sciatica and lower back pain, knee pain, and sports injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Shestakovsky attended the physical therapy program at Downstate University, where he graduated in 1999. In 2007, he graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine and earned his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. He has been trained by leading experts in manual medicine, treating patients with the latest, most innovative techniques in osteopathic manipulation in addition to spinal manipulation. The practice's mission is to encourage natural healing through manual medicine and education, with the goal of restoring and advancing each patient to their optimal ability and health.
Dr. Shestakovsky focuses on manual medicine, continuing education, osteopathic medicine, and the high velocity, low amplitude (HVLA) technique. He is devoted to providing individualized care and using thoughtful methods with every type of patient. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Shestakovsky enjoys spending time with his wife and child, and he loves basketball and reading. Omega Physical Therapy and Dr. Shestakovsky welcome all new patients.
